Regarding signature

My brother signed in a sub magistrate court as witness for his friend's friend of not been violating a law for 2 years who was prisoned for 6 months under goonda section. My brother is a student of age 21 . Will there be any problem or issues on his future?

A.Hi,
no one can be punished for someone else's offence.
you brother only signed as a witness, he did not commit the offence, so his future is secure.

your brother signed as a witness, having said that if he commits' any crime only then he will be punished. he can not be charged for some one else's offence.
