Accident case Accident case

I have been hit by a car on a road sometimes back. The fault is of the car driver. But the FIR by the police is wrong, they wrote that the car hit me while I was overtaking another vehicle, which is completely wrong. And the car driver DID NOT stop on the spot after the vehicle. Can that is a hit and run case.? What is the next procedure that i have to do. Please suggest.

A.Hi,
FIR cannot be altered once registered. However, you can communicate this to magistrate. Also, since the driver did not stop even after the accident, it may amount to hit and run.

A.Hi,
As the driver did not stop at the spot, it constitutes hit and run, however more information would be required to help you. Also, once the FIR is registered, no-one can alter, but, you may explain it to the magistrate.
