My late father was retired central government employee. He used to get 2 pensions one from airforce and other from central govt job from where he retired. I am divorced in 2015 but i moved to high court challenging it. My case for maintainenance is still pending before mumbai high court. My father died in 2018 and now my mom gets the pension what she is eligible. She is 72 years. And prefer to stay alone in 2bhk flat. I was able to fend for myself by working but recently due to health problems and financial am without job and accommodation. I am living in rented flat near her alone. Till recently she helped me by giving 1 pension. But suddenly she stopped without any reason. I want to know if i have legal right to stay in that flat and right for one pension. I am also worried about my mom who is growing old.

A.Hi,
You cannot claim the pension, though, you can seek help from your mother, as, only, unmarried daughter has the right over such pension.
