What is a blank affidavit, what are rhe circumstances in which Signing a blank affidavit may be required and what are the consequences of signing a blank affidavit? Is there scope for it to be misused? If so how, and what can be done to mitigate the risk?

A.An affidavit without the contents therein is a blank affidavit. In the circumstances where the party will not be available the blank affidavits may be taken. signing a blank affidavit may be required in rarest cirumstances. signing on a blank affidavit may be misused or misutilised when it goes to the hands of the third parties by filling up the gaps at the later point of time. for any further clarification you may contact.

A.Dear Client
There is no affidavit on blank paper, as affidavit is self stating deposition, never sign on any blank paper, the same may be misused by any one, if you sign on blank paper then file a complaint in PS stating that your sign has been taken on blank paper by force with fraudulent intention
