validty of a promissory note made on a 100 Rs bond paper purchased 6 Yrs back

Dear Sir
I received a promissory note on march 2019 from my friend against a cash transaction ( cash given by hand, amount 500000).
Later i noticed he used a 100 Rs bond paper purchased on march 2013 to prepare the promissory note.
Question is regarding the legal validity of the document , the bond was purchased in his name and is signed by him.
Is it a legally valid document to produce as an evidence to a court in kerala , so as to claim the money back from him.

A.Hi,
All Promissory Notes are valid only for a period of 3 years starting from the date of execution, after which they will be invalid.
