I have a filed a case in the court. I Cannot go to court because I am aged more than 80 years. I have given a power of attorney to my son.but now court is asking me to come. Please help me regarding this.

A.Hi,
You can have your lawyer file an interlocutory application for the Court to issue commission under S.75 CPC. You can cite your advanced age as a reason for non-appearance in Court, a Commissioner will then visit your residence and record your testimony.

A.Hi,
Under the Civil Procedure Code, Courts have the power to issue commissions for the examination of witnesses, so long as there are valid reasons for their non-appearance in Court. Taking into consideration your advanced age, a Commissioner will visit your residence and record your testimony.
