My relative and her husband were recently attacked in public by their neighbor and she was severely injured from it.FIR was lodged in police station but no action has been taken yet(It has been 4 days since the attack),also even the medical examination is being postponing. The attackers have some connections in police and they're openly threatening to attack again. How do you recommend to proceed here ?

A.Hi,
You can file a case in Court and pray for the necessary reliefs. The medical examination can be done by a private institution, the reports can be submitted as evidence of the assault. If the police are unwilling to take action, you can approach senior officers.

A.In case police pays no heed to your complaints, then straightway file complaint case in court of law. Hire a good advocate and summon your medical records of injuries in court. In this, police has least interference and court will summon them directly and proceed as if FIR is registered against them.
