Name discrepancy

My name in 10 marksheet is eshwaran(incorrect) and in orther certificates like birth,12 marksheet and degree is eswaran(correct)..there is difference in one letter H in my 10th certificate..as iam going to apply for upsc..in application form they mentioned name should match 10th marksheet..but in my 10th certificate there is incorrect spelling...whether affidavit for one and same person would suffice or any gazette notification is needed or my candidature will rejected?
