regarding disciplinary action against the president of a trust regarding disciplinary action against the president of a trust

If the executive committee has taken disciplinary action against the president of a trust for his misconduct, and the president's primary membership has been revoked for some period, then the committee has withdrown his suspension after the president apologized. In this situation, can that person continue to serve as acting president? I want to know what the normal process would be for him under societies act 1860 to be president again after that action?

A.Hi,
You might be able to institute impeachment proceedings as per your trust's Memorandum of Association. Yes, he can continue to serve as President if it is consented to by a majority of the society's members. Sections 10 and 11 of the Societies Registration Act allow members to be sued and punished as strangers(to the Society) when they are guilty of some wrongdoing.

A.Hi,
This would depend on the Memorandum of Association of that specific trust, and the rules its members have chose to govern themselves with.
Sections 10 and 11 of the Societies Registration Act provides that members who are guilty of some offence or contravention can be punished or sued as strangers.
