I want to mention both the names in rental agreement.

I am the landlord I want to renew my rental agreement as my tenant mother and a son are living as I have mentioned his mother name as a tenant but she is 65 yrs old due to her age anything can happen so I need to mention both mother and son as a tenant in front page and mention their aadhaar card number as proof and both of them mother and son are responsible for paying the rent any arrear due if any. Please can give any suggestion.

A.Hi,
You can go ahead with the same and add the son's name to the renewed rental agreement. You can also add a clause in the agreement stating that the son will be the right holder in case anything happens to the mother. It will have to be signed in the presence of witnesses.
