Can High Court order protection to private individuals if they face threat to life and property. The police is 100% with the criminals.
What is the procedure?

A.You can file a petition under article 226/227 for police protection in the high court. But, first, approach senior officials and ask for proper support.

A.Hi,
The High Court has powers under Article 226 to grant write for the enforcement of fundamental rights, you can file a mandamus writ petition to get the Court to grant an order commanding the police to do their duty correctly.

A.Hi,
Yes, they can grant such orders. You can file a mandamus writ application at the High Court under Article 226 of our Constitution to get action taken against the criminals and have the police do their jobs correctly.
