My Mothers second sister has filled an original suit regarding the property disbursement against my mother and her another sisters Husband and children. we have received an intimation from her lawyer that there is a hearing on date and we should be available in sub court. if we don't come the judgement will be one-sided. request your advice on the how to act on this

A.Hi,
The best thing to do is appear in Court on the date mentioned. You will be able to state your version of the events, the Judge will then determine whether your aunt has valid grounds to raise the suit.

A.Hi,
You will have to go to Court and verify whether she has a lawful claim. You can avoid going to Court if you have valid reasons for doing so, but this is not advised as you must present your side of the facts.
