Reselling Goods Imported By Others Reselling Goods Imported By Others

I am selling a few imported goods online (imported from China) by purchasing these from an offline retailer.

My questions are as follows:
1. Can I Sell Goods Imported by Someone Else. Do I need to Apply for any Licenses or Registration for this?
2. Can I remove the Original Label by the Importer & Place my Label on the product.
3. What are the Labelling Requirements for selling such Imported Goods. Do I need to Mention Imported By & Manufactured By.
4. What precautions do I need to take in this case.

A.Hi,
You have the right of first sale, which means basically you can resell anything you have purchased. However, this does not apply to misbranded or counterfeit goods. If it comes to the replacement of your own label from that of the original manufacturer, you can do it but subjected to some restrictions.
Yes, it is necessary to mention 'imported by' and 'manufactured by' in the product itself.
As a precautionary measure, ensure that the original imported is importing the products legally and under the proper regulation. As a transit on an illegal product might also have repercussions on you as well.
