Bank nomination Bank nomination

Hi all,

Past 5 months back one of my paternal aunty died and she did not have kids and husband.
Her siblings kids are 12 of us. Resently we got to know im the nominee for one of her SB account and FD and my cousin in nominee for another FD.

Now my other counties 10 of them are asking us to distribute the money everyone equally or they will file a case against us freeze the Money in bank itself.

My cousin brother told that they can do what ever they want and he is not going to give them even a single penny.

My aunty gave it to me, why should I distribute it to others and i don't want to give it to anyone. But I'm worried that they may file a case against me and they will freeze the money which is not going to be useful for anyone.

I don't know what to do. Im a family women and i can't manage court case and all.

What should I do now, should I distribute the money or not. Please tell what is legally safe for me and my family.

A.Hi,
Do not distribute the money among your cousins.
You were named the sole beneficiary, and as such, you are the only legal owner of this money. Your other cousins have no lawful grounds to freeze the money and are just trying to intimidate you. You should do the same thing your cousin brother did and ignore their demands.

A.Hi,
As the nominee, you will be the sole beneficiary of your aunt's bank. You should do the same thing your cousin brother did and keep the money, you do not need to share it with anyone else. You can file a police complaint against your cousins if they threaten you, they have no grounds to freeze her income.
