Neighbour Harassing on small Issues Neighbour Harassing on small Issues

So, I have been constructing my house but my neighbour whose house is just attached to me side by side is finding small small issues and abusing me since then. So Yesterday our 1 inch tile was on her side which we were just gonna cut after its cement gets dry but then she started screaming that these "chapdassi" fixed tile on my wall (my father works in ministry of defence / Central ) . She then started abusing my mom , brother and sister and started calling her prostitute while others were enjoying the show when my brother came forward then my neighbour's son abused my brother and started threatening my brother and said he will beat him and so. she always sweeps her dirt on our side intentionally. and she has been defaming my family by gossiping other womens in society. what should we do to get rid off such women??

A.How to File a Harassment Complaint Against a Neighbour
Is Calling Police an Option?
Yes, calling a police if your neighbor harasses you is an option to go with. You have the option to call the police by just dialing the police number 100 and police will come to the place mentioned by you in the phone call. They will come to the spot and ask you the problem and then will take the action against them. And, when they will reach the spot you should be having sufficient proof to prove the harassment by neighbors.
Harassment Through Nuisance
You may be living in an apartment or in a duplex, often it happens, when you hear loud music sound from the neighbor’s house, you try to ignore that sound for as long as possible but sometimes, such noise may make life difficult. This type of nuisance is defined in Section 268 of the Indian Penal Act.

A.Hi,
It is advised to you to file a complain for mental harassment against your neighbour if things seem to go out of hands. The complaint must be more elaborative, stating each and every fact and incident of such harassment so that the type and nature of harassment can be easily explained and proved.
You can lodge an FIR with the police or can file a complaint case before the magistrate or the court directly.
It is illegal for a neighbor to cause hindrance in the construction of your house.

A.If yours is a cooperative society than raise a complaint against them in the society for misconduct and if still issue remains unsolved than you may issue a legal notice through a lawyer warning of stringent legal action if they don't mind their conduct and don't stop defaming your family members or you can straight away file a police complaint for harrassment but remember that it becomes a criminal matter due to which you may require to do needful on your part as and when you are approached hence consider filing with police with all other factors in mind.
