The respondent of our civil case is not attending the hearings many times. How long will it take for the case to be closed if the opposite party doesn't present.

A.Dear client
You need to convince court on illintention of respondent to drag the case without any valid reason and on every date object strongly not to allow time or pray for proceed with ex-parte hearing

If you have a valid case, you can obtain an ex-parte decree (in the other party's absence).

A.Hi,
We will need more details. You can obtain an ex-parte decree in the other party's absence, this will depend on the Judge's discretion and the strength of your claim.

A.You will have to file a detailed Affidavit of Service and even go for publication in newspaper. Even despite the same, if he does not appear then you can make an application for proceeding ex-parte.
