Noisy neighbours

My upstairs neighbours are very noisy. I have repeatedly requested them to lower the noises since I work night shifts and I need to sleep during the day. I even gave a written complaint to the society office but to no use. Today again I asked them to lower the volume or close their door and she verbally abused me. What can I do?

It is advised that you should first send a legal notice to the neighbor warning them that you will file a suit against them for causing nuisance.
