Money issue
I have lended some money to a family friend. 2 months before he passed away and now what the problem is that we have asked his son and daughter the money that his father owes to me [ very politely] they have accepted it but they are refusing to pay. They are saying we don't need to pay our fathers debt we have spend a lot for his death and all so we can't able to pay. We don't know what to do.
The exact scenario is that we don't have any documents to prove it but we have [bank passbook statement] and Recorded calls and whats app messages that the daughter and son agreed that we have given money to his father.
So here i am asking what are the options that i have ?
what to do next ?
Give me some solutions

The children are under no obligation to repay you as they did not receive the loan. As such, it will be difficult for you to recover this amount through Court.
If you friend provided you with some security when taking the loan, you can claim ownership of the same.

It is very unlikely that you will be able to recover the money from his children, as they did not take the loan. The amount lent must unfortunately be treated as a loss.
