Hi,
On 14.03.2021 I had registered an online data entry job company Climate Technology, Ahmedabad. First they message me on Whatsapp, then they tell about the job details. After that they done a registration process and I got my Login credentials and I started my work on very next day. I was registered by morning on 14.3.2021 but they did not tell me about Agreement details. They send me the agreement copy to my mail by evening and it stored in the spam folder. So i not noticed that mail. Then i asked about the agreement details they told me that is your problem you need to ask agreement details but they not talk me about agreement details before and after registration. Now I told them that I want to cancel my job but they ask me to pay the maintainence money of Rupees 5100, if I am not pay that money means they send money means they filed a complaint against me. I am a college student due to my family situation I do this work but they threatening me. Please help me to came out from this problem.

1) Which was the website and does the company have their own website ?
2) Who recommended you for this online work?
3) Where do you stay?
4) Do you have any contact details of which person you spoke to you for the contract work ?
5) Did you sign any type of Contract or Agreement with the company?
6) Most of these types of companies are fraud? They will just keep demanding money & reject your work.
7) As now they have sent you the legal notice or may send through email there is a high chance that they may file a case against you. It will be always better if you send a legal notice by a Lawyer to the company for their false claim and mental harassment for you.
8) Also make sure that you are recording all the phone Calls which they have been calling you for money?
9) If possible we can help you to file a complaint to cyber crime office in your area if they are sending you continuous messages & emails for the payments.

They are making threats without legal standing, this is a punishable offence under Section 389 of the Indian Penal Code. These companies are often fraudulently set up to scam unsuspecting persons, do not pay them anything and ignore their attempts to contact you.

This is a fraud. Do not pay them anything, and ignore their attempts to contact you. Section 389 IPC makes extortion after instilling fear of false cases a punishable offence.
