Name Change

I have two middle names in different documents viz. Austin Felix Devasagayam and Austin George Devasagayam. I have already changed my name from Ausitn Felix Devasagayam to Austin Felix George through gazette change and it got approved. But, when I try to change my other middle name from Austin George Devasagayam to Austin Felix George the application got rejected. would I be able to use the same gazette copy to change name from Austin George Devasagayam to Austin Felix George for my Passport reissue? Please advise.

A.Too much of name game.
Passport office have specific affidavit for this.

A.Hi,
After publishing the name change in gazette, you need to make an affidavit and publish and advertisement in two newspaper (one local language and one national daily preferably English). Then you go to passport office with the affidavit and with original advertisement in two daily newspapers (this is accepted only 30 days after publishing of the said advertisement).

In order to change your middle name in the passport, once your gazette work is done, you are require to make sworn affidavit or Deed Poll (Annexure E') along with original advertisement in two daily newspapers regarding change of name (this is accepted only 30 days after publishing of the said advertisement). So, you can take the same gazette copy, make an affidavit and publish the advt. This time your application will be accepted.
