Can a tenant be escaped without paying arrear due of 5 lakhs .If tenant didnt pay the due whether they can be arrested them and put in jail for years or there is any way to get the money from them.

A.Dear Sir,
You have all rights to file a civil suit against the tenant by terminating the lease and sue for arrears and future loss. You can also file an application to court to seize the tenant’s goods and furniture and sell them to pay off the arrears. You can also sue the tenant for arrears and maintain the tenancy agreement.

A.Dear Sir,
You have three options to recover your arrear due : You can terminate the lease and sue for arrears and future loss, You can also sue the tenant for arrears and maintain the tenancy agreement, or seize the tenant’s goods and furniture and sell them to pay off the arrears.

A.On the basis of your rental/leave and licence agreement you can definately file a recovery case against the tenant by filing a civil suit. Hire an advocate of your area and show him your Agreement.
