Concern on Maintenance of Senior Citizens Act 2007. Concern on Maintenance of Senior Citizens Act 2007.

Sir, I was granted a 15 cents of land by my dad and mom. I built a house at my cost on this plot. Now there is some small gap between us. They are living well of. They have means for their food, clothing, medical treatment and all. I myself takes them to doctor even now, which I believe is my responsibility.
1. In case, if they want to take back this land on which I have built my home, is it possible provided they have good means of food clothing medical treatment etc.
2. Also, if I sell this property to someone for an amount, will they be able to take it back? Since the property is already sold on cash?
Hoping for the best and immediate advice from your side. Thank you.

A.Hi,
They cannot take back the possession of the property if the transfer made was valid at that time and was not challenged. Still if there is any case then you need to prove the cost incurred to built the house and property maintenance. You can sell the property if the property has your name in its title deed.

A.Hi,
If the transfer made by your parents to you was a valid transfer and was not challenged by anyone. Then you can prove the court your expenses to build the house and maintenance of the property. The possession cannot be snatched by you. Yes if the property title and ownership deed has your name then you can sell the property.
