A.- Make affidavit on a stamp paper mentioning your both old and new name , address, details.
- Notarize by a Notary.
- Then publish this in 2 newspapers
- After this do Gazette Publication
- Then complete the formalities in the office of Controller of Publication, Department of Publication.

This is process and then you can use new name.
But in Visa and every other place you have to mention both old name and new name. Some countries view this with suspicion for reason of change of name.

A.Hi,
For getting your name changed you will have to start by submitting an affidavit which is basically printed on a stamp paper mentioning your details, address, name, both-old and new and is notarized by a Notary Official. Then you publish this in a newspaper both local and English and keep the copies as proof for later. After this you need Gazette Publication which will be done after you submit your 'Deed of changing name form', a letter of declaration and copies of newspapers publication, attested photographs, address and identify proofs and pay the fees. Then you will have to complete the formalities in the office of Controller of Publication, Department of Publication. Now, your work for legalizing your name change is done.
After this you will get all your new ID s and passport which will be valid and considered in foreign nations as well.

A.Hi,
The procedure for name change has certain mandatory things which needs to be fulfilled. You will start by submitting an affidavit. The affidavit is printed on a stamp paper with your details, address, name, both old and new. Then after it is notarized you will have to publish this information regarding change of name in the newspaper. This publication will be done in two newspapers. After this you need gazette notification to legally complete your procedure. You will have to approach the Controller of Publication, Department of Publication with a 'Deed of changing name form', a letter of declaration and copies of newspapers publication. Also, carry your photographs and address and identify proofs. Pay the fees and complete the formalities and your work for legalizing your name change is done.
If you have changed your name and that name change is also carried out in the passport then that name is valid in foreign countries as well Since the most important document is a passport when you are in foreign countries.
