RETRIEVAL OF PHOTOCOPY OF PASSPORT

I need to retrieve photocopy of my passport which was impounded upon my arrival at IGI airport, Delhi by immigration and subsequently released to me by FRRO Delhi. How may I get those pages of my passport ? Does FRRO keep photocopy of passport pages with impounding and release remarks or should I approach CPV Division, MEA ?

A.Dear Sir/ Madam,
You may approach FRRO authorities for the same and in case your request has been declined due to unfair reasons then you can go to the competent court under the advice of your legal representative. Your legal representative with access to details of your case can help you more efficiently in guiding you with further procedures.

A.Dear Sir,
You may approach FRRO to retrieve the same failing which you may approach the High Court for passing necessary directions against it and thus you can get the same remedy as may be desired by you or some other equivalent relief.
