Civil Case . Tenant dispute. Civil Case . Tenant dispute.

Hello Sir/ Ma’am
I would like to get your inputs about a civil case which has been going on for the past 26 years regarding renting a shop to a tenant and the tenant refused to pay rent for all these years as a result my father filed a case against him , and till date the case is going on. We suspect that our lawyer had been conspiring with the opponent and party and stretching it all along. To our dismay we have discovered that it has been filed under a new case now in 2020. After all these years of paying fees attending hearings we have reached to ground zero again. Any kind of suggestions regarding this would be really helpful to us.

A.Hi,
Civil lawsuits, on average, take a long time to resolve. However, if you are concerned about your lawyer's sanctity, you can change lawyers at any moment. You can go to ADR, or mutual settlement with the parties, at any moment if you desire a quick resolution of a disagreement.
Thank you very much.

A.Dear Sir,
First change the advocate and then get certified copies of all the case records and then approach another honest civil advocate. You may also file an application before High Court for early disposal of your case.

A.It is necessary to know the present stage of the matter. Please take note that after institution of that Court case,if the tenant is contesting the matter, then he is obviously depositing the rent in Court. It is necessary to scrutinize the relevant documents of that Court matter, along with the recent filed case,to give proper opinion in this regard, however,it seems that proper persuasion has not been made in your part otherwise that matter cannot remain pending for such a prolonged period of time.
