Lost a leg in a building collapse

I lost one of my leg above the knee and the other leg is severely injured in a building collapse.my neighbours building was collapsed while Demolishing.for 1 year i am in bed.it might take 1 more year so that i can atleast start walking.can i apply for a compemsation? If yes how much? I dont have an insurance.

You can approach the court for compensation. You have right to get compensation for all your loses and since you have been under treatment for one year and needs more medical attention, you can claim an amount considering all those expenses and all the loses happened because of the accident.

A.Hi,
You have right to get the compensation. Compensation for personal injury and damage to property is a major aim of tort law. You can approach the court and pled for the amount you have spend for your treatment and additional amount for all the inquired loses.

A.You can file a case under law of torts and seek damages/compensation for the loss that you have suffered. You can for any amount that you want and court will take a cogent decision to award you that amount or whatever it feels is right to be awarded. But you fight your case in the rightful manner you have great chances to get compensation for the loss.
