A.Dear Client, Visit the official website of the Income Tax Department of India (https://www.incometaxindia.gov.in) and look for the “File Complaints on Tax Evasion/Violation of Tax Laws” or a similar link. Online filing is often available for reporting tax evasion and black money cases. You can also report income tax violators anonymously by dialing the Toll-Free Number 1800-180-1961 from any mobile or landline. You can also visit the website incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/ and submit a complaint anonymously. Apart from this, the Central Govt. opens a new window for the declaration of unaccounted/black money. The Centre has set up an email ID — [email protected] — to enable citizens to give information on hoarders of black money to tax authorities.

A.Hi,
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has created an automated dedicated e-portal on the Department's e-filing website to accept and process tax evasion, foreign hidden assets, and benami property complaints. The general public can now file a Tax Evasion Petition via a link on the Department's e-filing website, https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/, under the heading "File complaint of tax evasion/undisclosed foreign asset/ benami property." The Department will assign each complaint a unique number when it is successfully filed, and the complainant will be able to check the status of the complaint online.
Thank you.
