My father have affair he beats my mother some days ago so we filled a case but he is out on bail now he said he will beat us and will give all the property to that lady
As i am doing mbbs from foreign he said if i will try to do self defence he will spoil my future by filing a case on me

A.Hi,
For Cruelty, he shall be pun­ished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine as per section 498A of IPC. You can file a police complaint about such threatening.

A.Hi,
You can file a police complaint about such threatening. He is liable for the punishment which is mentioned under section 498A of IPC. Section 498A states that if a husband or relative of husband of a woman subjects such woman to cruelty shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine.
