Panchayath road in private land. (Now pattana panchayath)

My mother got land inheriatedly. Before getting the land panchayath made a road and dambered. Lost upto 5 to 10 cence of land. Can we claim any componsation for the land. We already provided for road provisiob in the site. But they wasted the land. Yhe road ends in our land itself.

You can approach the court for compensation for your losses. They can't acquire private property and do any construction over there. You can produce the documents and prove your title in the said property.

A.Government authorities cannot acquire any private property or land without providing adequate compensation for the same. Ask the panchayat to provide you the compensation or else file a case in High Court to seek the compensation.
