Can a car dealer force the buyer to purchase insurance and accessories when buying a new car. Also charge Logistics/Handling Charges over and above the declared ex-showroom price.
A.Dear Sir,
The dealer cannot force the buyer in any manner if he do so then get record all such dealings and send the same his manufacturer to cancel his dealership if not done so then approach concerned ministry and see that dealer is punished.

A.Hi,
It is not mandatory. It is the discretion of the buyer which insurance he has to opt for. However, it is mandatory to take insurance for driving vehicles on the road.

A.Dear client,
There is no set law for such things while purchasing car insurance and accessories pertaining to car is mandatory. While it is easy and convenient to do insurance ,here law says that no vehicle shall be allowed to run on road without insurance of 3rd party, done. It is also good for the owner so seller provides . But accessories are not governed by ant law , it may be ur choice, It is alike , when u go to get gas connection and a gas stove has to get with.
