We have land in sy no. 321 and our neighbor's land is 339 sy. no. Recently after the survey of land, we came to know that we are in possession of 339 and the neighbor is in 321(Reversely). Now we need to either do a exchange deed or we should farm in our correct sy no's, but the neighbor is not interested in moving to the correct survey number and instead he aslo planted mango trees. Also, we thought of getting an exchange deed but we came to that his survey number is involved in a court case , so if we do an exchange deed we are scared then the survey number which we exchanged wil be in court case. Is there any way, we can move to the correct survey number without an exchange deed since neighbor seems not interested in doing his part after knowing the facts.

You can't transfer the land just by handing over documents. If it is a mistake from the side of the authorities, you have the option to rectify it and make it correct. Please contact a lawyer and brief the facts of the case for further advice.
