Sir, 10 years ago i signed as guarantor for a chit company, i am the 4th person of total 4 guarantors. the borrower did not paid loan, the borrower is also a government employee, and till now he is doing service , taking salary. the chit fund company have filed a petition for salary attachment . few days back i received a court notice ( on 13-09-2021) to attend court on 25-10-2021 about salary attachment, and also they send "order of salary attachment" to my office to recover amount from my salary. and i submit my resignation letter to my employer on 14-09-2021 on my personal affairs, but till to date ( 03-10-2021= 18 days) my officers did not accept my resignation, and no reply from my office. i think they ( the borrower) are managing my officials to " don't accept my resignation". what can i do to "accept my resignation" ?, and what can i do to get out of this court case.?

A.Hi,
Acceptance of resignation depends on the terms of the offer letter of the job or the conditions for the notice period. If you can have medical reasons or other conditions that prohibit you from working then, you can say this in the court of law and escape the liability of paying the guarantee.
Thank you.
