Brother did Fraud: offered me investement scheme by purchasing his land.. Brother did Fraud: offered me investement scheme by purchasing his land..

2017 My cousin brother who is a property broker in Chittorgarh Rajasthan called me(i am staying in hyderabad) and told:
He is offering me investement scheme where i need to invest in his proprty a sum of total 2/3 rupees of the actual land value.
and after 6 months he will give me back the money with profit.

i belived him that time as i am not aware of properties and i online transfered (NEFT) him total 7,80,000 Rs in two installements to him.
he executed deal on the stamp paper and dispatched it through couries servies to me.
after receiving the stamp paper, i did my signatures on it along with my mother and wife as witness.

i didnt even visited the land we were deling with. i just blindly belived him and gave him the money. as he convised me to return it back in 6 months.

after 6 month i approched him (messaged/called) but he refused to give back money with profits and started giving some or the other reasons.

after that whenever i messages him or calls him he either ignores it or refuses to pay back.

now its around 4 years and till now he just paid me 1.95 lakh rs back. still 5.85 lakh Rs is pending.

its a clear case of cheating and fraud. and i need advice if i can take any legal action against him in Hyderabad, instead of in rajasthan.

A.Dear Sir,
You may get issue a legal notice and threaten to file civil case. Before that you may negotiate with him and get atleast postdated cheques through which you can recovery the amount easily.

I could have explained more if background is known to me.

Please give me FIVE STAR if satisfied by my answers.

A.Dear Client,
If the suit is with regard to an immovable property then usually it shall be instituted in the court within the local limits of whose jurisdiction the property is situated. However, if the agreement made lets you choose jurisdiction, then you can try for Rajasthan.
Thank you.
