Documents for Commercial Rental Agreement Documents for Commercial Rental Agreement

My landlord is asking for my GST certificate copy to provide me the Rental Agreement. I have already submitted my Aadhar card and Certificate of Incorporation copy to him plus the Pancard. Is GST mandatory for obtaining the Rental Agreement ? Place of commercial space is in Vijayapura (Karnataka).

A.Dear Client,
If you are taking a commercial place on rent then the landlord is going to apply the GST charges on the rent which you will have to pay. If you do not have the GST certificate then it does not matter he can go ahead and charge the same but if you have the GST certificate then you can take the input credit benefit on this.
