Cheating by staff

I am skin doctor. My assistant and technician together have cheated lakhs of rupees from my patients for the last 3 years in my clinic. We got to know only after they absconded taking salary last month. Wen asked , they have admitted their cheating but they say they have spent all that money robbed in my clinic. What should be next step. Please guide.
