Recently i hav found my grand father's resgisterd purchasing deed (in 1946) of an agricultral land of 2.5 acre, presently rtc is in the name of sellers family memember , in karnataka, encumberance certificate by sub resigister office is running in my grandfather's name.
what can we do further to get land ownership.

A.Dear Sir,
You have to take copies of all the relevant records and approach Assistant Commissioner Revenue under Section 136(2) of Karnataka Land Revenue Act to remove the name of seller from the RTC Columns.

A.Dear Client
Meet up a good civil or property expert lawyer and either file a suit for declaration for the same or file a title suit to reclaim your property. When you file the suit the court will pass orders accordingly depending on the documents and evidence in your favour.
