What is the process when a person is already in jail and another case was registered against him in another state during that period?

The same depends on the case if the court feels that he should be present he will summon him and the police authorities shall make sure that he is present during the trial.

A body warrant will be issues by the concerned Court or Police will take body warrant from the concerned Court and bring that Accused from the jail for further investigation etc.

The process is that the second case will go on in that court and it will be recorded that the accused is already in jail for another case. whenever the presence of the accused is required in the second court the court will send a notice to the prison for the same.
