Defamation case advise

Hi Sri/ Madam,
A friend ( say X) of mine had posted 2 Instagram videos Regarding a brand(say PQR). In his videos he didn't name as it wasn't intended for them specifically so " X" went ahead with a fictitious name. He received a Cease and Desist order from the brand asking him to take off the videos and sign an undertaking stating that "X" will not put out any content related to the brand. " X" here consulting a lawyer denied some of the mentioned claims but in order to settle the cases he removed the videos and signed the undertaking. What do you think could happen next as he has received an email back from the brand PQR Regarding the issue saying they have acknowledged it.

Corporations may sue for defamation when false statements are made about their businesses or reputations. However, the undertaking has been signed, and the videos were taken down, no further issues can arise.
