Procedure of Removal of Chairman Procedure of Removal of Chairman

Hi! We need advice regarding the removal of the chairman from the trustee board. The chairman is currently holding another managerial post in another registered organization. Also, he's contesting in the municipal vote. And, we don't keep people who are directly involved in politics. However, it's not written in the official deed. How should we proceed?

A.Dear Client

As per the facts which have been provided, call a meeting of the board. Raise the issue of removing the chairman for discussion. Decide if you want to remove him from the chairman's office or from the board entirely. Negotiate a resignation to avoid acrimony, if possible.

Hope this clarifies your query and requirement.

Thank you.

A.Dear Sir,
First get official deed amended. Even otherwise one person cannot hold two profitable posts. you may approach High Court or get pass a resolution to that effect to remove the chairman.
