Equivalent qualification of 10+2 for AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST

Till AFCAT II 2019, B.Tech later entry after Diploma in Engineering with maths, physics, chemistry was also considered as a qualification for Ground duty Administration branch under AFCAT entry. Later on the qualification was considered not equivalent for Intermediate 10+2 with math&physics.The now notification reads " aa) Administration& Logistics. Passed 10+ 2 and Graduate Degree (Minimum three years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or EQUIVALENT or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or EQUIVALENT- vide 5(c)(iii)(aa) AFCAT" it also quoted later that "Only those candidates who have given 12th standard in 10+2 pattern of examination are eligible to apply for these courses." In note section . When asked, AFCAT cell of CDAC replied that the decision was from ministry. There are few cases where High Courts declared Diploma with Math&Physics recognized by state boards& AICTE are equivalent to 10+2 having Math& Physics . Filed RTI application to D/o Defence seeking explanation, waiting for the response. What can i do? Legal suggestions welcomed. Thanks sir

You should file an RTI to seek the information from the relevant department and post that if you are still eligible then file a case in the Hon'ble High Court to seek justice for yourself. The High Court should be able to give direction in this matter
