Caste opposition and murder threat Caste opposition and murder threat

My gf and I belong to different caste and they’re opposing our marriage. They degraded me with abusive words and they’re threatening to kill her if she didn’t oblige to their words. We have recordings of their threats. How should we proceed further ?

If you both are major and have the reached the legal age to marry (i.e 21y for male and 18 incase of female) then you have all the right to take the help of the police station. You may also reach out to court and file a case of threatening and harassment.
Thanks

If you both have crossed the legally permissible age (21 years for boy and 18 years for girl) then you can seek the help of local police and get the registered marriage done. Legally you are free to marry each other even after the objections by the parents.
