Complaint against sister in law who is lawyer in Bar council Complaint against sister in law who is lawyer in Bar council

My brother and sister in law have an ongoing divorce petition in the court. We have paid half the amount of the alimony and are trying to collect the remaining amount. My sister in law is a lawyer herself. She along with her lawyer have issued a written threat to my brother and me stating that if we do not comply, she will file multiple cases against me an my entire family like dowry, harassment, etc. I would like to issue a complaint to the Bar council of maharashtra to take strict action. How would I go about this?

A.Dear Sir,
Yes, she cannot use her position as lawyer to issue such written threatening letters and request the Bar Council of Maharashtra to initiate disciplinary action against her by keeping her under suspension from practicing. You must also say that police are not ready to register a case against her seeing her profile and that she is always influencing the Police not to register a case against her.

A.Dear Client

As per the facts which have been provided, you can hire an Advocate and share with him in details the facts of the case and later file a complaint in the Court against your sister in law.

Hope this clarifies your query and requirement.

Thank you.

A.If you have sufficient evidences please approach the the concerned Court and apprise the Court of such developments rather than to approach Bar Council which is, although open to you and is ur prerogative, would be of little benefit to you and your brother.

A.Dear Client
Regardless of her being a lawyer she cannot threaten you in any manner and if she has threaten you in writing then she has committed a mistake and crime herself. If you wish then you can file a complain to both police and Bar Council of Maharashtra.
Also show the letter to some advocate to find out the threat in that.
