Compensation - personal laptop stolen

If my personal laptop stolen , from office then company have to compensate any law for that???

The company always insure its premises from any theft, fire, etc. like that if you are laptop is stolen you can lodge a complaint with Police and a copy be marked with your HR requesting him to recover the value of the laptop from the Insurance Company.

How can you put liability on the company for the theft of the laptop? If you can do that then you can seek the compensation from the company. What you can do is file a case of theft in the local police station.
