Transfer of ancestors property Transfer of ancestors property

Our family have ancestors land in Baramulla, URI, J&K.
My grandfather name is mentioned in the land Documents like mutation no., Jamabandi, Khasra Girdwari etc. We are basically kashmiri Migrants so my grandparents left the valley since 1990. Now the we extract the revenue documents and the land is on my grandfather's name. My grandfather died in 1991. So, question is that
1) How to transfer land to their sons ?
2) Is there is any provision to directly transfer the land to grandsons ?

A.Dear Sir,
You have to produce Death Certificates of your father and grandfather and also produce family genealogy and thus you can get land directly transfer to grandsons.

Sir, Thanks for reply.
My grandmother is alive but her age is 93 and we have to travel from jammu to Baramulla for land transfer. What we should do in such condition we can't take my grandmother with us for traveling because she is too old and my one chacha is divorced and one uncle was declared as terrorist under TADA Act.

As you would be aware that before removal of Article 370 the situation was different and now the system seems to come in place to take care of legal and administrative issues. What you need to do is to file an application for succession certificate and then basis that you can get the property transferred and registered in the names of the sons.
There is no direct provision to get it in the names of the grandsons unless the parents take some steps
