Defamation - Police complaint has been filed

Police complaint has been filed against one of the village lady on the name of prostitution. The names mentioned in the police complaint are not even aware complaint has been filed by their name. How to get the information about the complainers. Here complaint is nit physically submitted as per the police information it came by post and they are not aware who has given the complaint.

Unless the name of the complainant is established I don't think that police is going to take any action and it will be difficult for you to even figure out that who is the complainant. There is no possible ways apart from the person himself coming forward and telling it.
