My sister has gifted me a flat.Before seven years I have paid stampduty of 142000.But later I came to know maharashtra state govt made a rule that within family transfer of flat stampduty is not necessory.So Sir,can get the stampduty refund ?

A.Dear Client,

The buyer of the property can get a refund of 98% of the stamp duty, if an application is made for a refund of the stamp duty. With the refund application, you are required to attach the original agreement.

A.Dear Sir/Madam,

You may file application for refund before the concerned officer and it may be referred to district registrar and if nothing happened then you have to go to high court.
