Hi I have been married since 14 years.I have been. Married at the age of 18 years.and I have been tortured mentally by not allowing me to do what i want.they will not allow me to take any decisions. And i have two girl children and now I was in a situation where cant able to adjust.and I was not able to live with them.and really don't want to seperate my husband from his family.but now i was in a situation where I cant take mental torture anymore.my parents are telling me to adjust.and iam a introvert got married into joint family at the age of 18.what i should do can I get any solution for this problem.but I cant live in that joint family.and my husband don't want to come with me

A.Dear Client,

You must talk to husband and explain your situation and if he doesn't do anything then you may file a domestic violence case against your in-laws.

A.Dear Madam,
You have many remedies and all Indian laws are in your favour. You can lodge complaint with Police or you can file Domestic Violence case through Advocate but your parents must support your actions.

This kind of familial and matrimonial issues are better resolved through talking and discussing with your counterparts rather than going legal. You should speak about it to your husband and make him understand the situation. Going legal will be like taking a step to create more disturbances unless the problem is fully resolved by a court.
