want to build a house which is in name of couple. Wife is expired. Husband has made indemnity bond and submitted it to project along with death certificate who issued No objection certificate of transfer. What should I do for transfer in my name. He is offering me direct registration. Is it valid?

A.Dear Client,
when a property is on a joint owner ship of a couple, the property automatically transfers to the other spouse after the death of one spouse. if the husband is ready to register that property to your name, then it can be valid.

A.To give opinion, it is necessary to know whether that deceased wife had any child/ children or any child/ children of any predeceased child/ children. It is also necessary to know whether the husband has done Legal Heir Declaration or not.
