In my family me and my mother, mother is widow, my father did sucide when i was 9 months old. one person cheated us of 23 lakh rupees and absconded and currently in surat, refusing to give our money, it was my mother's hard earned money, she doing housework, we sold our property and gave him money to buy for our new house.

we are poor, cant afford lawyer fees, how to file a case against him to recover my money.

You immediately file a complaint in the local police station for fraud and cheating and let the police take action against that person. In case there was any agreement with that person then you can also initiate a civil case for recovery.

A.Dear Client,
you can file a civil suit for recovering the money he owed through promissory note or loan agreement. you can also file a cheating case against him.
