Fake birth certificate

I need your support to get my passport. I have applied for passport in 2016 and at that time their was a rule to submit birth certificate whose birth year was after 1989. At that time i was not having any birth certificate. So, due to lack of knowledge about the process of non availability of birth certificate and with the help of any agent i got my birth certificate. And i have submitted it for passport although I have checked authentication of birth certificate on MCD site at that time my name was there and reflecting.
After few days i got my passport and after few days of receiving passport i got a intimation mail from passport authority that the birth certificate is fake and i need to surrender my passport at Bikaji Cama Place.
I submitted my passport as soon as possible but now I need passport for various reasons i have tried many things to get my passport and it's status but not getting enough or appropriate guidance to get it.
Request you kindly guide me or ask someone from the department for the same. I have all the relevant documents except birth certificate.
